East Side Plating Inc. in Portland, OR is hiring a Racker for our 3rd shift to hang customer parts on racks before plating.

You will apply masking, track work orders, follow safety rules, and contribute to quality and productivity. Wage is $20.00/hour with a $1.65/hour shift differential; pre-employment background check and drug screen required; benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, paid holidays and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform visual inspection on parts prior to processing to prevent quality issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and receive directions from others.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work well with others.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must wear gloves and safety glasses.

East Side Plating is currently hiring for a Racker position for our 3rd shift operation, the Racker hangs customer parts on racks prior to the plating process.

Responsibilities

• Places parts on various racks/carts/fixtures in advance of the plating process
• Applies masking and/or plugs to parts as required by customer specifications
• Makes recommendations for improvements
• Tracks and records work order information in computer
• Follows safety guidelines, achieves and maintains quality and productivity standards, maintains an acceptable dependability level, and must not pose risk to self or others

Qualifications

• Ability to perform visual inspection on parts prior to processing to prevent potential quality issues
• Ability to work in a fastpaced team environment and receive directions from others
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and work well with others
• Ability to work while standing during your shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. throughout shift
• Ability to wear gloves and safety glasses

3rd Shift: Sunday 7:45 PM – 6:15 AM; Monday – Thursday 10:15 PM – 6:15 AM

Wage: $20.00/hour + $1.65/hour shift differential
