East Side Plating Inc. in Portland, OR is hiring a Racker for our 3rd shift to hang customer parts on racks before plating.

You will apply masking, track work orders, follow safety rules, and contribute to quality and productivity. Wage is $20.00/hour with a $1.65/hour shift differential; pre-employment background check and drug screen required; benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, paid holidays and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform visual inspection on parts prior to processing to prevent quality issues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and receive directions from others.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work well with others.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must wear gloves and safety glasses.

Responsibilities

• Place parts on racks/carts/fixtures before plating.
• Apply masking and/or plugs per customer specs.
• Make recommendations for process improvements.
• Track and record work order information in computer.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain quality and productivity standards.
