Job summary

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC is seeking a Powder Paint Process Technician I to maintain pretreatment and wastewater systems and to support paint line operations.

The role requires attention to safety and quality, and collaboration with the paint line team on part handling, inspection, and housekeeping tasks. Approximately half of the time will focus on supporting paint line operations, including hanging and painting parts, moving materials, ordering supplies, and inspecting finished parts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years finishing experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with powder coating and wastewater systems knowledge.
• Team-oriented, detail-driven and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate pretreatment and wastewater systems.
• Support paint line operations about 50% of the time.
• Check chemical levels and perform system cleaning.
• Monitor coating weights and document results.
• Troubleshoot line issues and drive safety and quality improvements.
• Assist with production coverage and material movement.
• Provide technical support to teams and manage supply orders.
