Job summary

Woods Equipment Company, part of the Oregon Tool, Inc. family, is seeking a Painter II to apply powder coatings to frames and parts on a moving conveyor line.

You will operate Wagner electrostatic spray guns, ensure proper mil thickness, and maintain transfer efficiency while meeting production deadlines. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with related coating experience, strong safety awareness, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, plus one year of related experience in powder coating or a similar environment.
• Ability to work while wearing a supplied air hood, communicate clearly, and complete tasks with professionalism and quality.
• Strong integrity, safety awareness, and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Eager to learn, open to feedback, and motivated to continuously build skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Apply high‑quality powder coat finishes using a Wagner Electrostatic spray gun, ensuring proper mil thickness, coverage, and gloss.
• Maintain strong transfer efficiency while keeping pace with a moving conveyor line and executing all pre‑ and post‑surface prep.
• Read and match color tags accurately while following established powder coat and/or liquid paint application processes.
• Support a clean, safe work environment and perform additional tasks as needed to keep production flowing.
