Powder Coating Line Operator - Second Shift

Location: Spring Park, MN, US

Position: Full Time Manual Labor

Salary Range: $25.00 to $31.00 hourly

Safety Rail Company is seeking dedicated and skilled General Laborers to join our manufacturing team working on the paint line on our second shift. This is a full-time, year-round position with overtime opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing, coating, and finishing products using powder coating techniques.
• Setting up and maintaining powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and filters.
• Applying powder coatings to parts for even and consistent coverage.
• Handling and moving objects safely following all procedures.
• Inspecting finished parts to meet quality standards.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Participating in equipment maintenance.
• Mastering the use of hand tools and equipment used in loading the line.
• Following supervisor instructions and process directions.

Shift Details:

• Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, with possible overtime.
• Pay: $22-$28/hour plus $3 shift differential.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Organizational and prioritization skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects (75-100+ lbs.) and perform physical tasks.
• Good dexterity and normal vision (with or without correction).

Work Environment & Preferences:

• Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to noise and heat.
• Forklift and powder coating experience preferred but will train the right candidate.

• Reliable with good attendance and reliable commute to Spring Park, MN.
