Job Details

Gemini, Inc. is seeking a Metal Letter/Plaque Finisher to join our Plaques team in Cannon Falls, MN on the 1st shift. The starting pay is $18.94/hour. The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, good attention to detail, and flexibility to work around the plant. This is an opportunity to work with a team and produce high-quality, custom metal plaques while cross-training and learning continuously.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality.
• Monitor accuracy and completeness of orders, including mountings and hardware.
• Construct shipping cartons and prepare products for shipment.
• Review production orders and ensure requirements are met.
• Belt sand gates, flashing, and unwanted roughness from metal letters and logos.
• Drill and tap letters or stud weld parts for handling or installation.
• Polish parts to a near-mirror finish.
• Maintain awareness of order dates, reworks, and remakes, and prioritize workflow.
• Work environment is clean, bright, and hot around equipment.
• Report to Plant Supervisor.
