Gemini is currently seeking a Metal Letter/Plaque Finisher to join our Plaques team in Cannon Falls, MN on the 1st shift. The minimum starting pay is $18.94/hour. The ideal candidate has a mechanical aptitude, good attention to detail, and is open and flexible to work around the plant. This is a great opportunity to work with a fun team, produce high-quality, custom metal plaques, and cross-train to learn continuously.

A day in the life of a Metal Letter Plaque Finisher at Gemini includes:

1. Inspect finished products for function, aesthetics, and quality.
2. Monitor accuracy and completeness of orders, including mountings and hardware.
3. Construct shipping cartons for finished products.
4. Prepare products for shipping, including UPS/truck pick-up, and maintain familiarity with shipping procedures and bills of lading.
5. Review production orders to ensure requirements are met.
6. Belt sand gates, flashing, and unwanted roughness from metal letters and logos.
7. Drill and tap letters or stud weld parts for handling or customer installation.
8. Polish parts to a near-mirror finish.
9. Prioritize workflow considering order dates, reworks, and remakes.
10. Work environment is clean, bright, and hot around equipment.
11. Report to the Plant Supervisor.
