Role Description

The Powder Coater role is a full-time, on-site position based in Palmyra, PA. This role is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal and other materials using powder coating equipment to meet quality and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include surface preparation (cleaning, masking, and sanding), mixing and applying powder, operating curing ovens, and performing visual and dimensional inspections to ensure consistent finishes. The Powder Coater will read and follow work orders, collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams, maintain equipment and work areas, and adhere to all safety procedures and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience with powder coating processes, including surface preparation, application, and curing.


• Ability to read and interpret work orders, basic drawings, and job specifications.


• Strong attention to detail and quality, including visual inspection and measurement of finished parts.


• Familiarity with manufacturing or fabrication environments, preferably working with metal and CNC-produced components.


• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and maintain coating equipment and hand tools.


• Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of PPE and safe handling of materials and equipment.


• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and construction teams.


• Ability to stand, lift, and move materials throughout the shift, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


• High school diploma or equivalent; prior powder coating or industrial painting experience is preferred but not required.
