Job summary

Gamlet, Inc. in York, PA, is seeking an Industrial Powder Coater to join our on-site manufacturing team.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, basic drawings, and production specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
  • Understanding of safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, safe handling of materials, and equipment operation.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for routine equipment checks, cleaning, and minor adjustments.
  • Reliable attendance, ability to work on-site in York, PA, and collaborate effectively with production team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or industrial painting/coating is preferred.

Role Description The Industrial Powder Coater is a full-time, on-site role based in York, PA. This position is responsible for preparing and cleaning metal parts, setting up and operating powder coating equipment, and applying powder coatings according to specifications and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include masking components, mixing and matching colors, monitoring oven curing cycles, and inspecting finished parts for proper coverage and finish. The role also involves following safety procedures, maintaining equipment and work areas, coordinating with production and quality teams, and completing documentation related to orders and coatings. The Industrial Powder Coater contributes directly to efficient production flow and high-quality output for customer orders.
