Job summary

Staffmark in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Powder Coater for a full-time role on a Mon-Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule. You will prepare fabricated metal parts, operate powder coating equipment, and ensure finishes meet thickness and appearance specifications.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year experience. You will read work orders and blueprints, perform surface prep, monitor ovens, inspect results, and support safety and 5S initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year powder coating or related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and prepping.
• Operate powder coating equipment and related systems.
• Apply coatings to meet finish, thickness, and appearance specs.
• Monitor oven temperatures and cure times for quality.
• Inspect coated parts for defects and adherence.
• Complete production documentation and 5S/6S initiatives.
