Job summary

PTMW, Inc. in Topeka, KS is seeking an Entry-Level Powder Coat Technician to assist all stages of the powder coating process, from prep to finish. You will help apply powder coating to metal parts and ensure adherence to quality standards under supervision.

You will prepare parts, operate equipment, inspect finishes, and maintain a clean, safe work area while supporting production flow and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Overtime may be required based on production needs.
• Must be safety conscious in a manufacturing setting.
• Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs on a regular basis.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and hanging.
• Assist in setup and operation of coating equipment.
• Apply powder coating to parts under supervision.
• Inspect coated parts for quality before finishing.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper tagging of parts.
• Support documentation and environmental compliance.
