Job summary

Pioneer Metal Finishing is seeking a supervisor to guide hourly staff in lean, quality-focused production. You will promote teamwork, ensure safety, and drive efficient operations on the shop floor.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to train and coach team members in a fast-paced environment. Full-time hours with comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• 1-2 years of leadership experience.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work individually and part of a team.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum performance of the team while maintaining high quality standards.
• Set the pace and motivate all employees using company metrics of success.
• Demonstrate agility, resolve conflicts and build a collaborative team.
• Coordinate with supervisor and HR on personnel issues and reviews.
• Assist with labor planning and staffing to meet demand.
• Support training and onboarding of new employees and cross-training.
