Job summary

Daifuku is seeking a Powder Coat Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead a shop team in Hobart, IN. You will supervise daily activities, drive safety and quality, and partner with production to meet schedules and standards.

Ideal candidates have strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. On-site role with competitive benefits and a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily work of the team, schedules staff and assigns tasks.
• Direct employees to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements.
• Communicate updates on dispatch due dates to managers.
• Partner with production to manage workflow and responsibilities.
• Lead 6S improvements with manager and staff to 90-point goal.
• Provide technical guidance and consult with resources when needed.
• Manage schedules, backlogs, and performance feedback.
• Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Maintain timekeeping records and attendance for groups.
