Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation in Hobart, Indiana is seeking a Powder Coat Loader Lead to supervise the powder coat line, train new staff, and champion safety while ensuring quality. You will verify hanging devices, maintain an organized work area, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a full-time, first-shift role with Monday–Friday schedule and potential forklift operation on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience operating a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in managing team members’ work in completion of tasks
• Verifying accuracy and quality
• Inspecting for damages or defects, recording issues and notifying supervisor
• Maintaining department database, preparing routine reports, and filing records
• Operating department material handling equipment and assisting in routine equipment maintenance
• Following departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous improvement goals and safety rules
• Selecting proper hanging devices
• Using overhead crane to handle heavy parts
• Identifying parts related to work orders
• Occasionally drives forklift to move product
• Complying with Daifuku QMS policies and procedures
• Contributing to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
