Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe, WI is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for 2nd shift (3pm–1:30am) to apply protective finishes to truck components on the line. You will operate coating equipment, monitor temperatures, and ensure parts are properly prepared and dried.

Ideal candidates can lift 55 lb, read blueprints, and follow safety procedures while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Able to lift 55 lbs unassisted.
Able to operate crane, tugger, hoists and forklifts.
Able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
Able to read blueprints and job instructions.
Able to perform basic math.
Able to follow written or diagrammed instructions.

Responsibilities

Pour 55 pound powder boxes into reservoir of machine.
Couple hoses to spray nozzles.
Adjust sleeve and spray direction to coated articles.
Regulate temperature of coating solution.
Remove articles from conveyor and place in drying racks.
Prepare parts using chemicals and hand tools.

Shift: 2nd; 3pm-1:30am, Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities and Duties:

Pour 55 pound powder boxes into reservoir of machine.
Couple hoses to spray nozzles.
Moves sleeve on nozzles to attain specified spraying pressure and turns thumbscrew to direct nozzles toward articles or materials to be coated.
Regulates temperature of coating solution.
Removes article and or materials from conveyor belt and places articles or materials in drying racks or containers.
Parts preparation with the use of chemicals and hand tools.

Qualification and Skills:

Ability to lift 55 lbs. unassisted.
Ability to use a crane, tugger, hoists and forklifts
Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to read and execute instructions as found on blueprints and job instructions.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
