Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment is seeking a Powder Coat Painter in Monroe, WI for the 2nd shift (3pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday). You will operate powder coating equipment, prep parts, and ensure consistent coating quality.

Responsibilities include loading 55-lb powder boxes, connecting hoses, adjusting nozzles, maintaining coating temperature, unloading parts to drying racks, and painting parts with hand tools. The position offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 55 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to read and execute instructions from blueprints and job instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow written, oral or diagrammed instructions.

Division: Monroe Truck Equipment - Monroe, WI

Position: Powder Coat Painter

Status: Fulltime

Shift: 2nd; 3pm-1:30am, Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Pour 55 pound powder boxes into reservoir of machine.
• Couple hoses to spray nozzles.
• Moves sleeve on nozzles to attain specified spraying pressure and turns thumbscrew to direct nozzles toward articles or materials to be coated.
• Regulates temperature of coating solution.
• Removes article and or materials from conveyor belt and places articles or materials in drying racks or containers.
• Paints parts
• Parts preparation with the use of chemicals and hand tools.

Qualification and Skills:

• Ability to lift 55 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to use a crane, tugger, hoists and forklifts
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to read and execute instructions as found on blueprints and job instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
