Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe, WI is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for the 2nd shift (3pm–1:30am, Mon–Thu). You will prepare parts, operate powder coating equipment, and ensure proper color and finish.

Candidates must be able to lift 55 lbs, operate cranes/forklifts, read instructions and blueprints, do basic math, and follow safety procedures. Training provided; competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 55 lbs unassisted.
• Experience using cranes, tuggers, hoists and forklifts.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow job instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, or diagram instructions.

Responsibilities

• Pour 55 pound powder boxes into reservoir of machine.
• Couple hoses to spray nozzles.
• Move sleeve on nozzles to attain specified spraying pressure and direct nozzles toward articles or materials to be coated.
• Regulate temperature of coating solution.
• Remove articles from conveyor belt and place into drying racks or containers.
• Paint parts.
• Prepare parts with chemicals and hand tools.

Status: Fulltime

Shift: 2nd; 3pm-1:30am, Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities and Duties

• Pour 55 pound powder boxes into reservoir of machine.
• Couple hoses to spray nozzles.
• Moves sleeve on nozzles to attain specified spraying pressure and turns thumbscrew to direct nozzles toward articles or materials to be coated.
• Regulates temperature of coating solution.
• Removes article and or materials from conveyor belt and places articles or materials in drying racks or containers.
• Paints parts
• Parts preparation with the use of chemicals and hand tools.

Qualification and Skills

• Ability to lift 55 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to use a crane, tugger, hoists and forklifts
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to read and execute instructions as found on blueprints and job instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
