Strong-Hold in Louisville, KY is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00am–4:30pm) to apply protective coatings to manufactured parts. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints to spec, and maintain equipment in a fast-paced production setting.

This role requires standing for long periods, proficiency with coating machinery, and adherence to safety protocols. Training on the job and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with industrial paint machinery or coating processes preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand coating specifications.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift materials.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Surface preparation: clean, sand, mask, blast, and de-grease components for paint adhesion.
• Mix and apply paints, epoxies, urethanes, or powder coatings using spray equipment or brushes.
• Set up and operate coating systems and spray guns.
• Inspect finished products for coating thickness and color accuracy.
• Maintain clean equipment and follow safety regulations.
