Paylocity in Louisville, KY is seeking a Powder Coat Painter for the 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00pm–3:30am) to apply protective coatings and paints to manufactured products. You will prepare surfaces, mix paints, ensure coating thickness and adhesion, and maintain spray equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements include 1+ year in industrial or manufacturing powder coat painting, a high school diploma, and the ability to stand long hours; training provided with a safety-focused

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in industrial/manufacturing powder coat painting.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency with industrial paint machinery and coatings knowledge.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift materials.
• Team player in high-volume production.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, blast, and de-grease components for proper adhesion.
• Application: Mix and apply paints, epoxies, urethanes, or powder coatings using spray equipment or brushes.
• Equipment Operation: Set up and operate coating systems and spray guns.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for thickness and color accuracy.
• Safety & Maintenance: Maintain equipment and follow PPE and safety regulations.
