Job summary

Standard Iron & Metal Co. is hiring a Powder Coat Painter Worker for the 2nd shift. The role involves loading and unloading parts, masking, powder coating, inspecting finished pieces, and packing for shipment. Training is provided for entry-level candidates.

Starting pay is $22 per hour with generous benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) with employer match. Quarterly profit-sharing, PTO, paid holidays, and a 2nd shift differential of 15% apply to the position.

Available Shift

• 2nd Shift:Mon - Thursday 4:00pm - 3:00am
• 15% shift differential for 2nd shift

Key Responsibilities

• Load and Unload Parts: Handle various-sized parts with care and precision.
• Masking and Plugging: Prepare parts by masking areas that need protection.
• Powder Coating: Apply powder coatings to parts, ensuring coverage and quality.
• Inspect and Package: Check finished parts for defects and prepare them for safe shipment.
• Labeling and Identification: Properly tag and identify parts to maintain organization.

Job Skills and Qualifications

• Experience Required: 1+ years exp in powder coat painting is essential.
