Standard Iron & Metal Co. is seeking a dependable Powder Coat Painter to join our production team on the second shift, 4:30 PM–3:00 AM, Monday to Thursday. You will prepare parts, apply powder finishes, and inspect results to meet customer specifications.

Starting pay ranges from $20 to $28 per hour, plus a $1,000 hiring bonus over your first year. We value safety, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, holiday

Qualifications

• Previous powder coating or industrial painting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surface prep and coating application techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for coating, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and racking.
• Apply powder coating using manual and/or automated spray systems.
• Monitor coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality to meet specifications.
• Perform color changes and maintain proper powder inventory control.
• Operate curing ovens and verify proper cure times and temperatures.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and perform touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain powder coating equipment and work area in a clean, organized condition.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of materials.

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Powder Coat Painter to join our production team. In this role, you will prepare, apply, and inspect powder coat finishes on metal components to ensure high-quality, durable results that meet customer specifications. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in craftsmanship while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $20.00-28.00per hour (Starting rate commensurate with experience)

$1,000 Hiring Bonus paid over your first year of employment

Second Shift (Needed)

• Monday – Thursday
• 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
• 4-Day Work Week
• Additional $3.00/hour shift differential

Key Responsibilities
