Job summary

ELF Enterprises, Inc. dba Badass Workbench & Big Rack Shack seeks a dependable Powder Coat Operator to join our production team in a hands-on role. No powder coating experience is required as we will train the right candidate.

This position offers opportunities to learn a valuable skill on a new coating line. The role involves preparing parts, coating, loading/unloading, quality checks, and ongoing process training.

Qualifications

• Powder coating, painting, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus, but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and hanging parts.
• Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings according to quality standards.
• Load and unload parts from racks, conveyors, and curing ovens.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
• Perform touch-up or rework when necessary.
• Participate in training for our new powder coating line and equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or operational concerns.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
