Job summary

Daifuku North America seeks a Powder Coat Loader Lead to help the supervisor manage the team, train new employees, and act as safety champion. The role requires verifying hanging devices and maintaining an organized work area.

You will assist in supervising team members, ensure accuracy and quality, inspect for damages, and maintain records. Proficiency with material handling equipment and adherence to safety rules are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experienced forklift truck operator.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in managing team members’ work in completion of tasks.
• Verifying accuracy and quality.
• Inspecting for damages or defects, records issues, and notifies supervisor.
• Maintaining department database, prepares routine reports, and files records.
• Operating department material handling equipment and assisting in routine equipment maintenance.
• Following departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous improvement objectives, and safety rules.
• Selecting proper hanging devices.
• Using overhead crane to handle heavy parts.
• Identifying parts related to work orders.
• Occasionally drives forklift to move product.
• Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
