Job summary

Carpenter Co. has a great opportunity for a Pouring Line Engineer in the Prime Pour Department at our Fogelsville, Pennsylvania plant.

You will receive extensive training on polyurethane slab stock production and become familiar with the process, machinery, chemistry and supervision of the pouring line. The role involves supervising hourly production personnel, maintaining daily communication with management, scheduling, quality and plant leadership, and applying just-in-time and lean

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Hands-on production environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly production personnel in the pouring line.
• Maintain daily communication with department management, scheduling, quality and plant leadership.
• Assist with supervision of production and personnel-related functions.
• Apply lean manufacturing and just-in-time principles to optimize material, machinery and manpower.
