Job summary

Carpenter Co. is seeking a Pouring Engineer at our Temple, TX plant to supervise and optimize polyurethane pour lines. You will work closely with the Pouring Manager/Technical Director and lead hourly production staff to meet daily goals.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Chemical, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering, 6–12 months of experience, and a readiness to work 1st shift (7:00 am–4:00 pm). We offer competitive benefits and a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Six months to one year of experience in a related manufacturing role.
• First Shift: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly production personnel within the pouring department.
• Maintain daily communication with department management, scheduling, quality and plant management.
• Assist with supervision of production and personnel-related functions.
• Develop understanding of pouring line technology (machinery, PLC, formulations).
• Participate in pour line projects and follow SOPs.
