Job summary

FXI is seeking a Production Operator in Ohio to set up and run foam machinery, monitor processes, and maintain a clean work area. You will support start-up activities and ensure equipment is functioning properly.

Employee responsibilities include following SOPs, performing visual inspections, and using standard measurement tools to verify quality. Training on SOPs and safety procedures will be provided.

Qualifications

• Read and follow SOPs and work instructions to meet customer and QMS requirements.
• Operate measurement devices to verify product acceptance and machine function.
• Conduct constant visual inspection of materials and products for conformity.
• Set aside non-conforming material for disposition by supervision or QA.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate foam machinery and control processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the work area.
• Assist production supervision as required.
• Ensure troughs and equipment are properly maintained.
• Communicate clearly in writing and reading.

Responsibilities:

• Sets up, operates, and controls the foam machine.
• Performs cleaning operations required to maintain equipment in good operating condition.
• Ensures all foam machine troughs are properly maintained and installed.
• Assists in the preparation of papers, films, start up block and other related items in the normal set up procedure.
• Help encourage and maintain good housekeeping.
• Assist production supervision as required.
• Knowledge of fraction/decimal conversions.
• Reading comprehension skills adequate to understand written communication.
• Write legible and understandable communication.

Qualifications:

• Read, Understand and be successfully trained on all related standard operating - procedure and work instructions to perform tasks successfully and meet - customer and QMS requirements.
• For specific quality expectations for this position, reference related SOP's and - work instructions
• Be qualified to use appropriate measurement device(s) such as ruler, caliper, - tape measure, to verify product acceptance and proper machine operation.
• Constant visual inspection of materials and product to ensure acceptance
• Set aside any material or product that does not meet specification for disposition
• by appropriate personnel (supervisor, quality representative)
