Job summary

FXI is seeking a General Labor team member for our Miami, FL facility. You will set up and operate fabricating devices, assist on the assembly floor, and ensure products meet specifications. This role requires basic measuring skills and consistent adherence to safety and 5S practices.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of factory experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for 8 hours, and communicate in English. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year factory-related experience.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fabricating devices (e.g., Roll Packs, Dolphin).
• Perform functions of General Labor 1 & 2.
• Support assembly floor machine operations.
• Verify conformance to specifications using a tape measure.
• Read work orders to specifications.
• Stage product in designated areas.
• Identify and record problems related to product, process, and quality system.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Follow 5S and Safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts set-up and operates a variety of fabricating devices (including but not limited to Roll Packs, Dolphin, etc.)
• Able to perform functions of General Labor 1 & 2
• Performs machine operations to support the assembly floor
• Verifies conformance to specifications using a tape measure
• Reads work orders to specifications
• Stages product in designated areas
• Identifies and/or records any problems related to the product, process, and the quality system
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Follow 5s and Safety policies and procedures
• Other duties, as assigned
