Job summary

FXI is seeking a General Labor worker to support our foam fabrication operations in Miami, FL. The role involves set-up, machine operation, and quality checks on the production floor to meet specifications.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of factory experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for 8 hours, and read measuring devices. English proficiency is required to communicate on the line and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year factory-related experience.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Conducts set-up and operates a variety of fabricating devices (including but not limited to Roll Packs, Dolphin, etc.)
• Able to perform functions of General Labor 1 & 2
• Performs machine operations to support the assembly floor
• Verifies conformance to specifications using a tape measure
• Reads work orders to specifications
• Stages product in designated areas
• Identifies and/or records any problems related to the product, process, and the quality system
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Follow 5s and Safety policies and procedures
• Other duties, as assigned
