Job summary

FXI is seeking a dependable General Labor for our Miami, FL facility. You will set up and operate fabricating devices, support the assembly floor, read work orders, and verify specifications.

This role emphasizes safety, 5S standards, and maintaining a clean work area; previous factory experience is required and lifting 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year factory-related experience.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to lift and carry 50lbs.
• Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Able to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Conducts set-up and operates a variety of fabricating devices (including but not limited to Roll Packs, Dolphin, etc.)
• Able to perform functions of General Labor 1 & 2
• Performs machine operations to support the assembly floor
• Verifies conformance to specifications using a tape measure
• Reads work orders to specifications
• Stages product in designated areas
• Identifies and/or records any problems related to the product, process, and the quality system
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
• Follow 5s and Safety policies and procedures
• Other duties, as assigned
