Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 21 years of age where required for driving responsibilities.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record meeting MVR requirements.
• Ability to operate vehicles and transportation equipment safely.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, safety and biosecurity protocols.
• Ability to complete required vehicle, transportation, and delivery documentation.
• Strong attention to safety, dependability and personal responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with daily transportation and logistics activities.
• Help load and unload materials, equipment, and cargo.
• Verify loads are secured before movement and remain secured.
• Inspect trailers, cargo areas, and load-securing devices before departure.
• Document transportation, deliveries, pickups, and inspections.
• Communicate with drivers, farm personnel, and supervisors about schedules and issues.
• Follow biosecurity procedures for farm entries and exits.
• Work safely around trucks, trailers, forklifts, and moving equipment.
• Wear required PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and support other operational duties as needed.
