Job summary

Cobb is hiring for a Cobb Poultry Selection Worker at Three Springs Farm, Rose, OK. You will assist with selecting birds around six weeks old, ensuring proper handling and data recording while supporting movement within the complex.

Hours are 5:00 am–3:00 pm on a Monday–Thursday schedule with holiday inclusions; starting pay is $17.00 per hour plus shift differentials for evenings and weekends. Benefits include insurance, 401K, and education programs.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
• Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Cobb/Tyson Foods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with selection of up to 2500 pedigree birds daily by identifying gender, catching, scanning wing bands.
• Monitor ventilation and light during shifts and maintain coop organization.
• Dispose of dead birds properly at end of each selection day.
• Set up for selection by loading coops, arranging frames, lights, scales and scanners.
