Tyson Foods is seeking a Cobb Poultry Selection Worker to assist in selecting birds at roughly six weeks of age, ensuring proper conformation and data accuracy. The role involves movement within the complex and various setup tasks to optimize selection efficiency.

Eligible for benefits on day one of full-time hire, with a comprehensive package and opportunities for weekend and evening differentials. Must reside in the United States and have at least six months of continuous work history.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no major employment gaps in past 36 months.
• Internal applicants may receive priority consideration.
• Residence in the United States required for interview eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with selection of up to 2,500 pedigree birds daily by gender, catching, wing band scanning, and auditing.
• Identify coop birds and ensure correct assignment to coops.
• Maintain cleanliness of boot room, breakroom, and equipment; report maintenance needs.
• Set up for selection by loading coops, arranging frames, lighting, scales, and scanners; manage disposal of dead birds daily.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including moving birds and handling biosecurity protocols.
