Tyson Foods’ Cobb division in Missouri is hiring for poultry processing roles starting at $18.00 per hour with additional shift differentials for evenings, nights and weekends. The schedule is Monday–Friday 5:00 am–1:00 pm or until completion.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional job gaps in employment greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
• If applicant has been laid off or providing child or elder care, the employment gap will be increased to 18 months.
• Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Catch, identify, and move birds during flock housing and vaccination.
• Badge identification by wing tag and place birds in pens as directed.
• Remove wing bands and badges prior to live haul and assist in loading.
• Operate forklift to move modules and load trailers.
• Maintain litter and housing sanitation per schedule.
• Handle mortality disposal and yard maintenance; follow safety rules.
