Job summary

Mountaire Farms in Millsboro, DE seeks a Day Shift Supervisor to lead department operations, ensuring staffing, SOP adherence and alignment with quality, efficiency and safety goals.

Responsibilities include ensuring orders are fulfilled, addressing defects per product specs and regulations, achieving metrics such as BMPH and A Grade %, and complying with HR/Safety policies while maintaining training.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience of 3+ years preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Familiarity with USDA sanitation and pre-operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders fulfilled with proper staffing and SOP adherence daily.
• Address defects and improvements per quality and packaging specs and food safety rules.
• Meet department metrics (BMPH, Cost/lb, PPMH, A Grade %).
• Follow HR/Safety policies; complete Kronos and Oracle HCM time-off requests; complete safety training.
