Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Production Hourly team member to join our processing line, cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting poultry to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll operate equipment, keep a clean area, and follow biosecurity guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Must multitask, communicate well, follow simple instructions, and be a team player.
• Able to work in cool temperatures and stand 8–11 hours daily, lifting 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment per USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working in different production areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
