Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a production team member to operate on the processing line, performing cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspection to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll work with equipment, keep a clean area, and follow biosecurity guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with some weekend work; base pay starts at $15.35 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus attendance incentives and benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Skills: Ability to multitask, communicate well, follow simple instructions, and work as part of a team.
• Physical requirements: Stand for long periods in cool temperatures; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products on the line with tools and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and knowledge to promote a positive work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
