Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking a Production Hourly team member to support processing lines, including cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products to meet safety and quality standards.

You will operate equipment, keep a clean workstation, and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines in a fast-paced environment. Prior poultry or food-industry experience is a plus; High School Diploma preferred. 1st shift with some weekend work; base pay $18.50 per hour and benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly.
• Good communication and teamwork; able to work near others.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products according to USDA and Pilgrim's standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and knowledge while promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
