Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Poultry Processor-Production hourly teammate to join our safety-driven, fast-paced line. You’ll cut, trim, package, inspect, and ensure products meet USDA and Pilgrim’s quality standards while operating equipment and maintaining a clean area.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, poultry experience a plus, and the ability to multitask, communicate well, follow simple instructions, and work closely with others in a cool 40°F environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience: Poultry experience is a plus.
• Skills: multitask, quick work, good communication, follow simple instructions, teamwork, able to work close to others.
• Physical requirements: work in cool temperatures (~40°F), stand 8–11 hours, lift 50 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products using tools, manual labor, and equipment according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team members by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different areas of production as needed.
