Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a production hourly team member in Kentucky to join our processing line. You’ll cut, trim, package, and inspect poultry to meet safety and quality standards; operate equipment; keep area clean; follow safety and biosecurity guidelines; and collaborate with teammates.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, poultry or food-industry experience is a plus, strong multitasking and communication, ability to work in cool 40-degree temps, standing 8–11 hours, and lifting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in poultry or food industry is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly.
• Team player and able to work close to others.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following safety, food safety, and animal welfare guidelines.
• Support team by sharing skills and promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by performing tasks in different production areas.
