Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a dedicated team member to hang live chickens in moving shackles at our Dothan, AL facility. You will wear PPE, follow company policies and NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and operate in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and safety standards.

The role requires standing up to 8 hours, lifting up to 60 lbs, and working nights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts. Poultry hatchery experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Pick up chickens by thighs, place feet on moving shackles.
• Control hydraulic bar with leg for continuous flow of product.
• Comply with company policies, animal welfare guidelines, and laws/regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
