Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a forklift operator to support the debone area operations. The role involves setting up the debone area, transporting finished products, and moving items to rework as needed. You will maintain the forklift, follow safety procedures, and collaborate with supervisors across departments.

Applicants should be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or equivalent and forklift certification are required, with preference for poultry processing

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklift equipment safely.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Relative poultry industry experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a wet, hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up the debone area with coolant, tubs and transport combos.
• Transport finished product to scales and the manifest area.
• Move product to be reworked as needed.
• Maintain forklift in sanitary condition and replace batteries as required.
• Follow directions from supervisors and assist other departments as needed.
