Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is hiring a forklift operator to prepare and move product through the debone area. You will operate fork lift equipment, set up the debone area with coolant and tubs, and transport finished product to the scales and manifest area.

Responsibilities include moving product to rework as needed, maintaining a clean forklift, and following all safety procedures and PPE requirements in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be forklift certified and able to operate in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up debone area with coolant and tubs, and transport combos as needed.
• Move finished product to scales and manifest area, and rework as required.
• Maintain forklift in sanitary condition and replace battery when needed.
• Follow directions from supervisors and work with other departments as needed.
