Job summary

Simmons Animal Nutrition, Inc is seeking a Production Associate for the Styler DSI SW – Days shift in Southwest City, MO. You will place product on conveyor lines, ensure proper spread and alignment to meet specifications and ensure no overlaps.

You will maintain line speeds, inspect for bones or fat, and rotate to other positions as required. You will work as part of a cohesive team in a cold, wet, dusty plant environment and will wear PPE as required, contributing to lean initiatives and

Qualifications

• Place product on conveyor lines and spread to meet specifications.
• Maintain line speeds and ensures product meets specifications.
• Inspect meat for bones or fat and remove rejects.
• Rotate to other positions on the line as required.
• Work in a cold, wet, noisy, dusty environment and use PPE.
• Act as a team member and participate in team meetings and LEAN programs.

Responsibilities

• Places and spreads product on conveyor belt, ensuring product is straight and pieces do not overlap or touch as it passes through the machine.
• Maintains line speeds and ensures product weights meet specifications; identifies and flags improper cuts.
• Rotates to other line positions as needed and supports team with ongoing process improvements.
• Fosters teamwork, attends team meetings, and supports company policies and lean practices.
• Keeps awareness of quality systems and reports concerns to team leader.
