Job summary

Pilgrim’s is hiring for a Production Hourly role. You’ll work the processing line performing tasks such as cutting, trimming, packaging, and inspecting products to meet safety and quality standards.

You’ll operate equipment, maintain a clean area, and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred) and may involve lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long shifts, and working in cool temperatures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Must multitask, communicate well, understand simple instructions, and be a team player.
• Must be able to work in cool temperatures and stand for 8–11 hours, lifting 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Process poultry products according to USDA and Pilgrim’s standards.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety and biosecurity guidelines.
• Support teammates by sharing skills and promoting a positive work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement and problem solving initiatives.
• Perform other duties to meet production and quality goals.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working across production areas as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
