Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a dedicated poultry processing worker to handle tasks that remain after automated killing, preparing birds for disassembly in a fast-paced plant.

You will operate under minimal supervision, follow NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and all applicable laws, and perform other duties as assigned. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, slit neck of poultry missed by automated killing process in preparation of disassembly.
• Perform all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned
