Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a poultry processing associate to hang live chickens in moving shackles. Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday; hours are typically 5AM to 2PM. Starting pay is $21.95 per hour.

You will wear PPE and work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and all laws. Responsibilities include picking up chickens by thighs, loading them onto shackles, and operating the hydraulic bar for continuous flow.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work unsupervised and motivate yourself.
• Demonstrates sound work ethic, honesty and integrity.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Hang live chickens in moving shackles.
• Assist with feeding onto moving shackles by thigh grip.
• Comply with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and laws/regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
