Job summary

Koch Foods in Collinsville, AL, seeks an experienced supervisor to lead department staff, ensure safe food handling, and uphold regulatory compliance in a production environment.

You will support staffing, coaching, and continuous improvement while coordinating with USDA inspectors and QA teams; audits will be prepared under your guidance. This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills in a meat-processing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Food, Animal or Poultry Science preferred.
• 3+ years supervisor experience required, preferably in poultry or meat processing.
• Proficient technology, computer, mathematics and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise department staff ensuring safe food handling and regulatory compliance.
• Assist manager with staffing and continuous improvement through training and coaching.
• Enforce policies, procedures, regulations and GMPs within the department.
• Produce and distribute reports as required.
• Ensure customer standards and expectations are met.
• Assist with communication with USDA Inspectors and QA team members.
• Assist with interviewing, selection, training, onboarding and coaching of staff.
• Lead and assist with audits (3rd party and internal).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
