Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Agricultural Science or related field with two years of experience OR HS Diploma with four years of poultry experience.
• Knowledge of Poultry Plant Production.
• Previous Supervisory or Management experience overseeing processes and people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and control workflow to ensure assignments are completed and resources are utilized properly.
• Meet or exceed production requirements.
• Ensure safety, loss prevention and training of employees in area.
• Collaborate with USDA and State Grader, Quality Control and Shipping to meet federal, company and sales requirements.
• Reposition staff to meet ergonomic goals, cross-train, manage absenteeism, and maintain coverage.
• Foster positive employee relations in a multi-language population.
• Supervise cleanup during breaks, lunch and between shifts to meet USDA and state requirements.
• Be accountable for labor costs, packaging and department efficiencies.
• Serve as backup for Shift Manager when needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
