Job summary

Versova is seeking an Agricultural Systems Technician I to support maintenance in our poultry production plant. Under supervision, you will learn basic mechanical, electrical, and conveying systems while assisting the maintenance team to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance
• Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge required
• Able to work overtime, weekends and holiday hours as needed
• Willingness to work in a poultry/agriculture environment

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in routine maintenance tasks
• Perform basic equipment checks and inspections
• Help with simple repairs and parts replacement under supervision
• Record maintenance activities in logbooks or computer systems
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE
• Learn to identify issues with agricultural equipment
• Assist in basic upkeep of conveyor systems and production line equipment
• Participate in on-the-job training to develop technical skills
