Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee skilled trades, maintain equipment, and manage building and utility systems at our poultry processing facility.

You will plan work schedules, enforce policies, lead preventive maintenance programs, train staff, and ensure safety, uptime, and compliance with blueprints and specs.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in a poultry processing setting; flexible shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of DIRECTLY RELATED experience in maintenance supervision.
• Experience in a poultry processing environment is required.
• Ability to work flexible hours/shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Directs workers on major painting, repairs, and maintenance of building systems.
• Supervises installation, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Inspects work for conformance to blueprints and specs.
• Prepares work schedules and assigns tasks to subordinates.
• Enforces company policies and procedures.
• Leads preventive maintenance programs and staff training.
• May supervise grounds maintenance and custodial services.
